KYC (Know Your Customer) is a standard identity verification procedure used to prevent fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes. As a licensed platform, we are required to verify the identity of our users to ensure that funds are being deposited and withdrawn by the rightful owner, and that the customer is legally allowed to use our services.
We may request KYC documents at any time in order to confirm your identity and location. In some situations, services, deposits, or withdrawals may be temporarily restricted until the verification process is completed.
We apply a risk-based approach and conduct due diligence checks depending on the customer profile, transaction types, and activity. There are three levels of due diligence:
Simplified Due Diligence (SDD), used in cases of very low-risk activity.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD), which is the standard identity verification procedure required for most users.
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), used for high-value transactions, unusual activity, or higher-risk customers.
In addition, the full KYC process becomes mandatory when a user reaches a lifetime total deposit amount of more than EUR 10,000 (or equivalent in account currency), requests any withdrawal from the platform, or when a transaction appears unusual or suspicious.
During the KYC process, the user will be asked to provide some personal details and upload the following:
A government-issued photo ID (passport, ID card, or driver’s license). The document must be valid for at least 3 more months, include a visible signature, match the user’s name on the account, and confirm that the user is over 18 years old. Documents from restricted jurisdictions cannot be accepted.
Proof of address (bank statement or utility bill). The document must include the user’s full name and address matching the ID and must be issued within the last 3 months. Documents issued in restricted jurisdictions cannot be accepted.
A selfie of the user holding the same ID used in step 1, where both the face and the document details are clearly visible.
If any of the documents do not meet the requirements, the verification cannot be approved. In that case, we will create a support ticket and inform the user of the reason for the rejection, along with what needs to be corrected or resubmitted. Once all valid documents are provided, the account will be successfully verified.
This verification process ensures compliance with international regulations and protects both the platform and its users from fraudulent activities.
